80psi rated tires and/or tpms changes of superduty

Anyone know if the truck computer can be reprogrammed to change the set point at which the low tire pressure rings in? Found a few 35" tires that are rated for 80 psi but the selection is very slim. Have a set of Duratracs I run for winters but only rated for 65psi like most tires. Issue is they need to be inflated the max to not flag the dumbass tpms. What are you other Ford guys doing in regards to this crap? Hate having the tire light on the dash..

I have the sct x4 programmer works good - I've got 315/70/17's duratracs on a 2014 platinum f350 with 50 psi and my sct set the computer to 40 psi before light goes off

I’ll have to dig into the Bullydog and see if there’s a way to adjust the pressure, dont remember seeing anything before tho. Think on dodges the tpms can be disable but not on the fords..

The FORScan setup looks like it'd do the trick. Anyone know if the bluetooth scantool can be removed after changing settings for re-connecting my bullydog after, or does it need to stay plugged into the OB-II port full time?

Once its changed you should be able to unplug and reconnect your bullydog.

On my 17 the tpms will trigger if I change tires then set to 60-65 but if first I fill the tires to 80 drive a day then lower them to 65 they do not trip warning, it's like they have to be inflated to 80 first then lower down not just set lower first.

The best way to deal with programming issues on a ford is to buy a duramax or a cummins hahaha, sorry, couldn't resist, hope you got it figured

I love my cummins..... but running a 35.5" tire with a 65psi max rating has my truck always lit up showing me my "flats" I have had it into the dealer numerous times and have been told there is nothing that can be done for me as it is now a legality issue. Truck is 1 year old and has been lit up since day one. Anyone have any suggestions for the ram platform?

sorry again..... back to ford bashing lol

Suppose you also suggest buying a doo.. haha. Haven’t swapped over to the winters yet but will give this Forscan a shot, sounds pretty slick. Or live with the ‘reminder’ my winter tires are on lol
