800R question

I dont know if this should go in the xp section or not, but anyway...Im looking for an 07 and am wondering what the difference is (if any) between the 'updated' engine and the 08-09 800r....is the factory rebuilt the same for all these sleds? (I understand it should have an R stamped behind the torque stop)...
What are the other issues to look out for with the 07 engine besides the crank issues and the clutching? (and track)?

move the ecm that is on top of the pipe back on top of the oil tank where they used to be.... [ too much moisture and heat from the pipe ] ... make sure it has the newest rave gilotines in it... [ cause the brake off and fubar an engine ] the lastes ones are the 2011 etec ones.. 140 for the pair ]

What I'm getting at is, if I buy a 07 summit, and I want to buy a new engine for it from skidoo, will it be the same engine as the xp's 800r or will it be a rebuilt 07 800r? Just wondering if all the crank problems dissappear with the 07 engine...
