Y???? I'd take it out and take it to mots performance in st Albert. He did my bottom end for 1000. New doo crank,case machine mod,asmb..... Think it was 625 more a new mono cylinders , and i went with mcb pistons. Have 2000 into it and doo wanted just about 3000 depending what Ur core is for shape. Plus unless u have a doo dealer install it u get no warranty with the short block.

looks like someone bought a new shortblock and is selling the old one....that little blockoff plate comes on the new motor.
