80 psi max tires

So. Ford has decided you cannot change the tire pressure alarm settings in the new trucks. So currently my choice is to run garbage tires. Or listen to the alarm. Anyone know of a 35”x20 tire that is rated more than 65 psi max?

I lowered my 2017 super duty sensors to 50 psi. Denny Andrews fast lane did it for me. No cost to me. I’m running bfg ko’2 tires at 52psi

Every Ford dealer has the ability to lower your TPMS pressure thresholds. Some dealers will not do it, some will do it for a small fee, and if you have a good relationship with your own dealer they will do it for free.
You can also do this yourself, along with modifying a ton of other features on your truck by using Forscan. Here's the link:

Remove sensors from each wheel--mount in an "air" box--vessel of some sort and run your tires at your desired pressure. Example use a piece of black pipe capped at both ends

Remove all sensors and put in spare tire. VOILA!

Yes it would work but you loose the use of the tpms... go to a good ford dealer and get them to adjust the limit. Zender did mine.

On a 2017 f350? I used to get all my other trucks reprogrammed. But they said 2017 is different. And they are a great dealer.

If you buy an sct tuner you can set them to whatever you want.

Not true. Numerous Ford dealers will do deletes and do warranty work on deleted trucks. I have personally had my truck deleted from the lot and had a few warranty claims put thru with no issues. But some are more picky than others. And the whole 'reading it had a tuner' is more scare tactics. I know of plenty of guys who have re-installed the dpf and egr for dealer work with no issues at all.

Long story short. Shop around till you find a dealer who will adjust the tpms for you... or find someone with For-scan who can do it for a couple beers...

Until you are on holidays in another province or down in the states and you drop a rod bearing or blow a tranny up and the nearest dealer tells you to pound sand on warranty. Now you vacation just cost you lots. You don’t always break down at your local dealer

Yea SCT wont help you on the 16+ Superdutys. Talk to Azraie at ProvenDiesel.com. He can set you up with an EZ-Lynk which is a far better platform for the new trucks
