700 MudPro feedback?

You'd lose. The 1000 Kitty is faster than a stock Outty 800....the Mudpro 1000, not so much.

I also have a 2011 Arctic Cat XTZ 1000 side by side, it will blow the doors off my 2012 Mud Pro 1000 - do I care -Nope.
my cats do fine, my 500 HO Polaris that I hardly use - no issues. Now my Can-Am 650 nice quad but has issues at times
but I put up with them.

Like they say Tits or tires sooner or later your going to have trouble with them ;)

hey i like can ams to but there is nothing wrong with cats ive seen probs with every brand its not just cats i ride with mp1000s n 700s and none of any probs with 30" backs n 31 laws

In my experience, i have two friends that bought mudpro 700s a week before I bought a can am XMR. So they are all brand new machines with no wear on them. All 3 of us went quadding, I never got stuck once, they got stuck twice each (Granted I have a bit more rider experience and the monster tires on mine opposed to the mudpro). I swapped off to ride the mudpro for 15 mins, It feels clunky and big as opposed to the XMR, I'm happy with my purchase and my friends seem to be regretting theirs lol. Yes, it did cost me a few more dollars in the big picture, but I can live with, but if your buying something you intend to have for a couple years, whats a few extra thousand. and like was said before the mudpro doesn't come with a winch, I was disappointed.

Thats just my feedback take it or leave it.

Mud pro with no winch....... maybe from factory but get a better dealer and its a free add on, even my ac550 got a winch when i picked it up, no extra charge

Hah, better not tell them that, I dunno, they aren't rockin em on their mudpros so they couldnt have gotten that good of a deal.

Go one model up on the mudpro and you get the full bumpers and winch. The Model without the winch is the base model Mudpro that replaced the low cost 650 Mudpro.

On my second 700 Mudpro and no problems.May take me 20 min more to get there but save an hr or more washing at end of day if that matters to you at all. Also the easiest machine i have every serviced to work on.

Heres the fact. a Mudpro has a single cylinder engine ( we know this ), Can ams are twins. the One thing people for get about is water and going deep.
if you put the exhaust on a mudpro under water while running you run the chance of stalling out ( happens often apparently ) and now your dead in the water. where as a can am wont stall out.

Out of the box with a mudpro it looks good on paper. but mudzillas arent the best tire( they dig quite a bit rather than pull ), no winch and its honestly underpowered compared to even a 650 or 500 can am.

your money is better spent on a can am 800 due to reliablity and longevity. I ride with mostly can ams, most are over 3600km and have had very few issues.
A snorkel, clutch kit and set of tires is all you need to make a can am unstoppable

I'm not saying mudpros are a bad machine, im just saying if you do things right the first time and you wont regret it once your toe to toe with a mudpro.

In my experience mudpro's stall out when submerged ( not all the time) but more frequently than canam's. and ive yet to be touched through a hole by a cat. anyways ostacruiser - YouTube watch some of these videos and see that arcticats do compared to the modded canams.

My experience doesnt speak for everyone. thought i should mention that.

The mud pro 700 might not come with one, but mine the 1000 came with one...

I have a mudpro 700 and and outlander 650; the 650 is a great all around machine; crappy ground clearance comparied to the mudpro.. ya I know throw a lift on it and some 30" blah blah blah.. through the mud mudpro walks around it any day; top end the can-am will take it but if I wanted something that will go fast down a road I'll take my car out.. My mudpro came with a winch and everyone I saw on the dealer floor had one.. I walked out the door with 5yr warranty for 10K..( I get 5yr warranty on any machine I buy) can't really beat that and I don't have to really worry about modding it.. If you never get stuck then you must be one amazing rider or never go through anything that has been rutted out and botten out.. I have and do lots.. but who really cares..I like the mudpro but it does feel a little tippy as it sits pretty high for stock but you get used to it. Can-ams do have better power from bottom to top; on any machine I have yet to have trouble spinning the tires through anything even when I had my sportsman 500 with 27" tires..

botton line get what you want and what feels comfortable to ride..

We will be the ones bashing when all competition is behind us ha xD, Jk, it's as preference thing guys... And really who cares if what you ride, ive seen people with ch!t foremans and bayous go thru where xmr 800s and Cats get stuck ha, it's all on the operator...

Sick :), what are ur suspension settings? When i got mine it was 5 front and 3 back, then i dropped it to 3 front 3 back and ha soft o_O on corners... Thinking on putting it back to 5 front and 3 back but what to people usual have theres at??? Same front and back???

It's not about the quads which is better ha, its about themoments we create with them and the beer :) and stucks :)

I agree.. nothing like a couple cold ones and a nice fire in the middle of the bush with a few buddies harrassing them about getting stuck here and there.. the bantering always makes it fun
