700 Grizz CV joint Questions

Stuck on this with the CV joint.

Any ideas?

Also try giving it little taps in a criss cross pattern.




Or you can just cut the shaft off and claim instant victory...

have you had any luck getting that apart yet?

I had to deal with it in the bush at camp. I used a piece cut from the old cv boot clamp cut about 1 1/4" or so long to go almost the circumference of the shaft and curved it to match the splined part of the shaft and worked it in between the c clip and the hub part with needle nose pliers. It takes alot of paticence to work it in starting at one end of the boot clamp and working your way around till it is all in. Then pull the hub and your done.
