7 tooth 3" pitch Avid Drivers. Should I have ordered 8 tooth?

I was about to install my Avid Drivers and was wondering if I ordered the wrong ones. I am in the process of installing a Backcountry X 9328c 15x153x1.75 3" pitch track. Its the only 1 3/4 track I can find that will work with my 15 Summit SP 154. Anyways, Can I install 8t 3" pitch Avid Drivers instead of the 7t Avid I ordered? The Stock track was a 2.5" and 8t drivers 2.86"p. I would like to install the 8 tooth.​

I think you could get away with 8 tooth Drivers with a small track like that.
