If bought with the correct gear ratio for application.
Wonder what ratios are available.
I would think 4:10 /4:30 ratio with that trans would be sweet if the trans had a good overdrive ?

3.73 standard but available with 3.31, 3.55 or 4.30. 10 speed trans is the only option.

If you were just looking for a sled deck truck this engine in either a f250 or 350 would be a sweet setup.

Probably not the engine for you if your towing a 4 place enclosed all the time.

I’ve got the 8.1 litre with the Allison right meow, it’s perfect for my setup, but it will wear out one day I’ll be looking for another big block.

Technically it’s not a big block. It has small block bore spacing.

The new ford 7.3 will be a good choice for people that know the negatives of using the diesels but still need a HD truck. For most guys, the diesel is a want, not a need.

Im not telling anyone to do anything. Do whatever you want. If I decide to get an international vocational chassis 6x6 truck to haul my atv trailer, it’s a want, not a need. See the difference?

Yup F250 crew 7.3L 10 speed, Tremor package with a deck would be a sweet rig for sledding.

I was just pointing out the two more popular truck choices in our Market. I would venture a guess most guys would drop the extra few hundred in a359 over a 250 though
