7/16-24 Die

I’m not 100% sure what that means...7/16, 24 threads per inch, I think...but I have a chit ton of taps and di’s from the 40-50-60’s from my gran-dad who was a machinist....I’ll dig in and look tomorrow. Only metric stuff has stumped me over the years!

You are correct on the 24. As for metric, it’s the size and the pitch of the thread.

Ya saw one on Amazon, buddy is doing a restoration project. I think it’s a British thread.
No industrial place in Red Deer has one.

It’s what they refer to as 7/16 x 24NS or National Special.
Its not something you will get from Auckland’s, Greggs or the like.
I probably have suppliers that can get it. If it’s a one time use, Amazon. If I have to order it...$$$.

No dice dude. I have some weird ones...7/16-19....but not the one you need.
