Wife needs a new suburban, we have the 6.2 now.

Who has experience with the little Duramax? How’s reliability of these?

Timing belt needs a service around 200,000km, have to drop the trans and get at it from the back. Hope you get a good one for emissions if not, the 22 ish and older can still be deleted.

i have the minimax so far so good awesome truck. Like mentioned off warranty might be some hefty bills on it down the road im only at 60,000. But i feel like those big bills apply to pretty much any new vehicle nowadays

My wife bought a mini max Tahoe. Unreal mileage. Chevy has a $8500 employee discount on right now.

I've changed injector and injector wiring harness below 5000 km on 4 units now , 23 and 24 units

Lots of sensors issues , few dpf filters , few t stats, few oil leaks on front cover plug

I wouldn't tell my worst enemy to buy one lol

But that's my opinion

I'd consider owning a 6.2 off warranty, I wouldn't want to own a minimax off warranty.

Definitely more concerned about reliability over fuel economy. But No way I wanna be burning premium fuel in a 6.2!

Oh ya that would be a tough sell. My wife will totally be looking to step back 35 years of comfort and luxury refinements. 👍
