5th Annual Vintage Ride Boulder Mountain Revelstoke March 5th 2016

Weather is looking awesome, the club groomer operators are going all out to make it a wicked day!!!! You can register right up to ride day and still get your special edition t-shirt for this years ride. I still have some classes available for anyone wanting to build a custom trophy, just contact me at 403-850-5266. All profits from this years vintage ride will be donated to Revelstoke Minor Hockey! And everyone is welcome to come out to the new Meet & Greet centre at the front parking lot in the morning to witness some unbelievable sleds, costumes, theme riders and of course the camaraderie!!!

And finally a very big thank you to Dusty and everyone who made this happen. It is a lot of work, but so much fun. Numbers seem to be increasing every year too, nice to see!

It's 20 years and older, but all sledder's are invited for the ride. The newer sleds work great for towing down the vintage sleds!!

Mar.4/17, there isn`t an age limit, but youth would have to leave awards ceremony at 9 p.m.

i think all the sleds should at least have PLPD..i was hit at a Whitecourt poker rally 5 yrs ago by a uninsured liar..she gave me false name and address ,,never heard from her again? cost me a sled..damage was more than it was worth to fix?

Well this years vintage ride is going to be easy peasy, no registration, no trophies, no classes, no T-shirts, no drugs or alcohol. This year because of weird weather, hotel room availability and poor economy, I thought it would be better to have a no pressure fun family ride. Leaving the Boulder cabin at 10:00 am March 4th up the Kirkup on groomed trails. Hang out at the cabin for some shenanigans for a couple of hours. Then down the picturesque Veiderman trail to a bonfire with hotdogs and hot chocolate. I think the relaxed ending will be a great time for some stories!! Any other questions can be directed to me at 403-850-5266 for faster response!!!

If you get someone over to help you get it together, I will make the trip out there with the xtc and go with you. You got 2 weeks.......

On a side note, the club has a special events exclusion, so no plates or insurance are needed for the vintage ride Saturday.

Thanks to all of the riders that showed up!! The sun did show up which was a first in 5 years. We've assembled a group of dedicated riders to make next years an event not to be missed. So make your calendars and book your rooms for March 3 & 4 2018, for what will be the best vintage weekend. If anyone has pictures or videos please post as I was to busy running. Thanks again and watch for a new vintage thread and please add in your vintage rides from your area!!
