Wow, it's hard to believe that this is the fifth annual ride coming up this March 5/2016. Again we have moved up the date to get away from the rain as in past 3 years, and hopefully we'll get a bluebird day like the first year. With the construction of the new Revelstoke Snowmobile Clubs Meet & Greet centre, this will allow us to have everyone sign in and get your paperwork for this years ride, plus pick up your collectable souvenir T-shirt. You can pre-register again this year by calling the club's office at 250-837-3325. Also this year we want to everyone line up in front of the new building for pre judging in the morning. Also we will have covered space for a swap meet at the new clubhouse for a small fee. And for those that made it to the cabin last year, we will have the snowball express again as it was highly entertaining. Once again, we will have custom built trophies again for all the class winners. And for anyone wishing to build a unique trophy this year, there will be a real trophy for the best creative trophy. The classes for this year are as follow
1969 and older
1970-75
1976-79
1980-84
1985-90
1991-95
Oldest rider and sled age combo
Best OEM dressed
Best themed dressed
Furthest distance travelled
Hardluck
Snowball express winner
Once again the trophy presentation will be at the Big Eddy at 7:00 pm
It would be greatly appreciated if anyone has pictures from last years ride or previous rides to share and also any pictures of last years custom trophies. This club event is highly entertaining, and truly gives you a appreciation as to how far the technology has come. And it's even more impressive to see these old sleds get to the cabin and further back if weather allows just like they did when they brand new in their day. For any other info email me at 8505266@gmail.com or call/text 403-850-5266, and cya March 5th. The poster will be ready shortly to post up at your local dealer or sled repair shop
