509 sinister....which lens is best for low light conditions? I currently have a yellow lens and it is not as good as the yellow low light lens I have on my Oakley Airbrakes.

We have the clear in stock, it is ever so slightly smoked. I think I'd use that in night riding conditions. I find the yellow to be very yellow.

Airbrake is just better, get rid of the 509 junk, we came off the mtn late one day last weekend and I could still see in pretty much dark with the airbrake hi/yellow

I have a few sinister and aviator lenses for sale as I'm not going to be running them anymore, also have the fan.

I have a bunch of different colors including yellow, rose, and black polarized. I wear the black polarized in all conditions but I find them best in low light and socked in conditions. They aren't the greatest at night but I still ride out with them with no issues.

And yes, 509's suck.

I like the 509 rose or the blue for low light. Have a set of Zeal eclipse with photocromic Polarized lense which is the best all light lense i've owned. And you can't beat a clear lens for night riding IMO

And I could see perfectly fine that same ride with my blue mirror blue tint 509 lens. :p

As Femme.fatale was saying the clear lens is good too. I like to rock that on really crappy days.

I'm old krista, lol. I always had problems with my 509's fogging bad and the coatings coming off the lenses, now granted I had bad fogging issues with my oakleys on that ride as well but I found it was my helmet setup that caused them so I should be good to go now. The optical clarity of the Oakley lenses is hard to beat.

The one lense that I did love on my avaitors was the irdium clear.

I don't mind the sinister rose lenses. I haven't had any luck with the rose aviators though, they seem to be darker than the sinister tint and make it seem pitch black when it's twilight out. I had one that got condensation between the lenses too.
