Our butts are doing ok, it’s our shoulders. Go figure.
Today 409kms of dirt road to Eagle Plain, about 8-10hrs depending on conditions and how fast we go, stops and so on.
We have a room at Eagle Plains, tomorrow Arctic Circle run.

This morning we are at Eagle Plains and will be heading for the Arctic Circle where unfortunately will be the start of the ride south.

Well we did it, made the Arctic Circle.

 

[Lund]

More importantly KB put the Ryker through vigorous terrain for what this machine is.
Over 800kms of changing dirt road conditions that you find in the Yukon.
I’m proud of her accomplishment, so is BRP, the first CanAm Spyder/Ryker to reach the Arctic Circle.

Cool trip Mike . On my bucket list for sure

I planning on returning, motorcycle only.
This time all the way to Tuktoyaktuk.
Time did not permit and the Rykers limitations, it was challenging enough to take it this far with only 4” of ground clearance lol. But BRP paid a large portion of this excursion in equipping the Ryker and KB. So the star had to be KB’s Ryker at the Arctic Circle.
I already have a plan route for next time and looking forward to it.

So taking a 2 day break in Dawson City before heading for more adventures.
We are both played out.

I'd love to go up there at least one more time. Helped build the road to Tuk but have never driven it since it was completed.

So, sometimes when on the road you see all kinds of cool crazy stuff and this trip we did from home built campers, over landers, Unimogs, lots of European setups, over loaded cars and so on.
But the craziest, coolest setup yet is this one I just came across at the hotel we are staying at.

Honda front, VW rear LOL
1.8L VW turbo diesel attached to a VW transaxle. Home made frame attached to a 1983 Honda front frame post and forks.
The camper trailer is also home made.
Guy is from Kentucky USA.
