The road into Stewart is insane, just too much.
I could spend a week just on that short 60km taking pictures. Too much to post but here are a couple.

Todays adventure, a few pics.
No border crossing to get into the USA but you better have your papers to get back to Canada.

Into the US then into Canada. The Salmon Glacier is in Canada but you have to go to the US side to get to the glacier on the Canadian side.

Salmon glacier, formed around 6,000yrs ago and is the largest glacier in the world that one can drive too.
It is also the 9th largest glacier in North America.
It’s slowly shrinking and in the 1920 extended into Alaska about 30kms away. It’s currently 37kms long.

Came across this mining tunnel no longer in use, it was for gold mining operations in the area. Your not allowed in but no gate lol
