I sent atlas lifts an email about what kind of group discount they could offer. Look like really good lifts and they have a warehouse in calgary

Just got off the phone with him. Nice guy. Says its probably from the 70's or 80's so definitely an older unit. Hes gonna send me some actual pictures of it.

That's why I went with A Bendpak liftI’d be taking a good look at those hoists for $4-5k. I paid $5k for my 9000lb Mohawk back in 2004. I’d be asking about seeing the certification on the steel etc. And if they meet the industry standards. Where are they manufactured?

Your ok.Well crap......just about have this thing together and something doesn't seem right about the way the cross members mount into the posts. Got the manual and the posts have to be anchored into the concrete. Frick.....this was the reason I went with a four post, so I wouldn't have to do that.
So now sell it or try to rig up a steel plate under the posts to anchor to. Probably be fine but not sure I should mess around with something that could be life and death
Whats the problem with bolting it to the concrete?
