Anyone know if a 30x9x14 back will fit on a polaris 850 scrambler with no lift? Has anyone been the ginea pig yet?

My neighbour has 27" Mudlights on his and the back tired are only an inch away from the fenders. So I don't think they will. I am going to make a custom set of a-arms and lift kit so he can fit outlaws on, they will move the rear tires back about 1.5".

Dirt wheels magazine sept issue has an 850 scrambler with 28's "we learned that the bodywork can accept up to a 28" tall tire without a lift kit. With only minor trimming, we are confident you could stuff 30 inchers under there."

recguy, I saw your post in the other thread. Heres some pics of the scrambler. You can see the clearance on the rear tire with the trimming. The clearance only gets better as the suspension compresses.

Friggin love all your quads bud, you do a great job. Mine looks almost exact as yours just smaller tires and no snorkle yet. How do you like the big gun? I have it as well with the optimizer, and man is it loud hey.. What clutching did you go with? I went with EPI and it seems not bad, was going to get the stm primary and secondary but pretty pricey.
My next quad is going to you for the work, haha.

You should come out to wolf lake sat aug 17, would love to ride with you and see that thing perform.

Cheers

Love the big gun. It's has a great sound to it. Pretty loud. I run it without the optimizer. For clutching I went with a QSC clutch kit. Crappy but I have to work this weekend.

I will keep it in mind. How much are you looking to get.

I don't get to muddy. Only when it's thicker and the tires fling it. I thought about flares but think it would kill the look. Plus nobody has them out yet.
