Just wondering if anybody has had a 3"track installed on there new sled yet,and what does it all require?also trying to get an idea of what it would cost to get it done or is it easier to do yourself?

Depending on where u ride a 3" track is not the answer for powder. I ride revy lots and have seen sleds with 3 " tracks in pow suck. To big a paddle and im not sure they work any better. Save your money. IMO There's alot of shops making big bucks on drop and roll and 3" tracks seems to be a city thing. Never seen a bc local run one Like everyone buying 32" silverback tires for quads last year They are useless and don't work. To aggressive in the mud and your always stuck. That's why theres a ton for sale new used
so i take i there is no reason to drop and roll or any other mod than this to be able to run the 3" track, just to change drivers?
My buddy put a 3" 154 on his 09 XP non-ported and he won't shut up about it. Says its the world of difference, I'm still getting used to my machine.
the 3" is night and day difference from a 2.5, absolutely no comparison, have not found 1 cond where the 3" is a hinderance, but i dont trail ride also.
what track lengths can a guy get with a 3 inch paddle?does anyone know
My buddy bought a camoplast 155 3" lug non-ported.
