Doing a track extension on a 12 600 144 to a 155 stock polaris track. Then I got to thinking why not throw a 156 X 3'' on if it will fit for better performance. Does anyone know if there is enough clearance in this tunnel for it to fit? It has the same bulkhead and tunnel as the 144 assault so not sure if it will work. I am going to 660 it next year so thinking might as well put the bigger track on if I can now even though it may lose some track speed this year. Thanks in advance.

Did you mean 3" lugs? or a 2 or 2.5" lug with 3" pitch?... To my understanding only the 13 and up PRO RMK's can get away with a 3" lug and 7 tooth drivers. So I'm pretty sure you would need to drop and roll it. But even if it did fit... wouldn't a 3" track be alot for a 600 to turn? Just a thought.

I mean a 156 X 3'' lug which is a 3'' pitch track. Yeah it would be a lot for a 600 but if I was to 660 it next year then it would run pretty good. I think I will stick with the 155 2.4 and see how that is for this year.
