3 inch track problems

Is any one having any troubles with there 3 inch tracks with 7 tooth drivers? How's the cooling? What's the top speed you go with it??

1500 km with no problems
geared 20-49- top speed of 65mph
if you are worried about speed don't get a 3''
scratchers are needed on the trail up

No I'm not worried about speed just don't want to wreck it! Do you have to run scratchers on your skis to or just on the rails

When my buddy ran the 3 inch on his sled he ended up running scratchers on both the ski's and rails to keep it cool on the trail. He ran the extended chaincase from Baker as well Scotty.

I only run the scratchers on the skid and never had a problem
best upgrade i have done so far

No as he is only running the 2.5 inch now. He didn't like the 3 inch on the trail. To much vibration and noisy.

I have a 174 with 3 inch paddles, i love it in the steep and deep but im going to have to put scratchers on my skis and rails to keep it cool cuz it seems the ones on the rails arnt quite cuttin it, the sliders are burning up pretty fast still.
