3 in conversions

I have 09 summit just wondering how much work it is to convert the old 2.25 to a 3 in I heard drop and roll and some said u dont have to just change drivers

My brother talked to one of the vendors at the Edmonton sled show and told him that to put a 3" on his 08 XP requires smaller drivers. He said you could go to 2.5" without a problem but not the 3".

as stated you need the avid 7 tooth drivers. because you have a 2009 you will have to grind the rivets down a bit at the top of the tunnel directly over the drivers. also need to throw a 49 or 51 tooth gear in the chaincase

I put the 3 inch on my 09 xp last year and it was the best money spent if you are riding in the deep snow.

Thanks alot it's a 154 summit x with 869 bore kit in it what pitch would I need

Thanks it's a 154 with 860 bore kit in it just wornding what pitch I should use and where is ta best place to find ta track where I looked I can't find a 154 3in not ta best with computers lol just like burning ta fuel

call curtis at tracks canada. he will put an order in for a 156 x 3 inch. might not get it till december though. he will also set you up with some 7 tooth drivers. you need all 3.0 pitch track and drivers.

156 all il have to do is extend it two inches I was hoping for a 154 but I was told they don't make that size thanks for all ta info it's a great help

O ya rite on il have to give him a call that just made ta season thanks I'm ta only summit in our group can't let them cats win lol
