I put a set of Nitto HD Grapplers Severe duty on our F350 and I love them. Only tires I'd trade them for are a set of Coopers or Toyo M55s.

Put all Hankook on our half-tons and they are awesome, only chitty part is the tread life.

i dont like nitto i have some xtreme nitto grapplers on the duramax and holy chit they are so loud not again i am leaning towards michelin i dont drive the superduty in the winter it only pulls the race trailer around i have the stock goodyear tire on it now and 40000 km on them there getting down to 40 % so its getting that time to look for tires

Michelin ride like no other but they burn off like crazy, might be okay if you're not doing any gravel.

Just looking at the tread you know the nitto's are the same tire, Nitto is owned and/or produced by Toyo i believe.

Not sure why you think they are no grip tires, they are fairly luggy.

Toyo m55 only tire I've been able to get over 100000 km on, with mostly gravel

Never sais m55 didn't last long.

But a hard tire sucks ball in the winter and they have no siping just like a mud tire.
But then they are not a mud tire with the treads they have.

have about 20,000km on my nitto grapplers on my work truck which sees 80% gravel. will probable need to be changed before the snow falls but so far they have been good. i don't find them loud at all. just wont last long at all

Not that bad ,little louder than the wrangler Sra as that is what came factory they are a bit rougher ride but I think it's due to the 10 ply rating

I have the Toyo M55 on my rig and I like them...........this is my second truck I put them on.......I get a small amount of road noise around 80km/hr and over 85km/hr nothing quiet in the cab..........I find them pretty good on snow and ice when travelling on winter hwys.

I need the same tires, they are a 1070 mounted and balanced. If you go South of the line to Les Shwabs, that is what I was quoted. I have also found out and have a thread in the tow vehicles section about some decent looking Dunlops from Costco. I'm almost thinking of going that route and saving the fuel as well as the drive time.

Duratracs pop up as $1573.44 to my door without the replacement warranty from Discount Tire Direct. That is with shipping, tarriffs and whatnot included..... Which is sad when you think about it.

I like Duratracs but they are kinda noisey.... I agree about M55's and have found them utterly useless in the winter. They are like running on a hard plastic wheel.

You probably don't need the Duratrac if you never winter the truck, and it's a pavement pounder. What about an All season of some sort with a highway tread? I don't know what to recommend though as I haven't run any in years, lol.
