That's going to depend on where you live and how busy contractors are. I suggest getting quotes from reputable contractors in your area as price will vary a lot. In 2012 I paid $5500 all in for 24x24 garage pad, which works out to $9.50 a sq ft which included all the dirt work and built the area up 1 foot. In 2015 had a city driveway poured for $8 per sq ft.

Mine cost around the $16 a sq ft 8 years ago in central AB. 14g for a 30x30 saw cut sloped towards the door with a full width shop drain to a dry sump and a 6" curb. Probably be much more today I'm guessing but 8 years and not one crack and it wasn't heated for about 6 years and exposed for two winters.
Don't cheap out on the concrete and above all else build it on a curb people. Flat pads with no curbs are just dumb.

Get as many quotes as you can from proven concrete contractors. I agree with getting what you pay for but it pays to shop around and take advantage of the slow times. My 24x24 pad had a thickened edge, all rebar + ground work sloped to a central sump for $9.50. I would expect for you to pay 8 dollars or less, but depends on market. Contractor will tell you whatever they think you will pay I found this out when getting quotes.
Another thing I would strong advise you not to use mesh. For the extra cost of rebar it is worth it.

I just poured a 24x30 pad 5" thick. Iit was 32mpa concrete with an extra 5% calcium added. Concrete here in Rocky for 9m3 was $2100. I got 2 quotes for $800 cash to finish which included cutting in and edging.
I did ground work and rebar. All in I was about $3500

I made it on computer for a hood decal, I gave to decal place in town, they added, Warning-watch for flying debris. Love it
I would advise against using chicken wire. If you don't put rebar in, might as well just use a gravel pad because it's a waste of time putting concrete in.
5% calcium? Holy fawk, I hope that is a mistake. I didn't even think they could go that high. Calcium isn't a benefit to concrete either way.
Although I did hear of someone ordering 2% on nearly +25 day this summer.....

Concrete dries and shrinks over time. There is also the outside chance the gravel pad isn't compacted equally or dense enough. The pad will have some cracks, whether hairline or larger ones and the mesh will break. Takes a lot to break the re-bar. With re-bar the floor should not have raised cracked slabs within the slab. In other words, when the floor cracks it will still be level and end up without ridges.
