Hay Days is a success because its held in a farmers field and doesn't require big cash to attend, both from a spectator and vendor perspective. $1,100 for a 50 x 75 booth and includes 4 passes, along with wifi. BOGO passes for $30 for 2 days, with full access. First weekend of Sept, still draws a crowd. 57 years strong. Just sayin'......their recipe for success is working.

If it is held early enough, prior to the weather going bad. One of the raceways out side of Edmonton, or Rimbey.
Pigeon lake where they hold the music festival. Lots of options if they decide to go the outdoor route.

that's not easy either as they have to try to book with the skidoo/polaris/arctic cat tour schedules.

yea ask the manufacturers and big dealers how they feel about their semi trucks and booths in the mud. You will gain some and lose many. a place like martins that provided the most inventory to check out, best deals and and most support staff isn't going to transport all of that stuff 150km away. Some things just don't make sense.

this is 100% part of the risk of moving away from Edmonton, trust me, we're looking for more affordable venues.

Yeah, I don’t think I had my license yet the last time it was there. I was going through stuff the other day and found some pictures (the kind from the 90’s you had to go somewhere to get developed and hoped you got them all back) and brought back memories. Racers Edge, Mountain Magic, Specialty, Clycle Woks all had the coolest new hand built mods, those where cool shows, and swap meet in the parking lot if I remember correctly. And alway the first time the new sled videos were out. Man, VHS took up a lot of space. 🍻

Steve was cool. Steve was hated by the women at our dealership back then. He would always come in to the store, give us a nod of recognition and head to the washroom and have a dump.
Then it would waft in the parts area
Till he left.
Lmafao!!
