A 600 is up my alley for my oldest turning 12.
We have a 550 evo that he has been on for 2 years. It has impressed with how well it works for him.
But I have 2 more boys so it’s time to do a sled shuffle to upgrade the youngest.
I’ve been watching for an Axys 600 155 but this neo has my interest.
I would like to see it in person to look at is physical size.

The only thing that doesn't really make sense to me is the 1/3 or 1/2 output 600.
I just can't imagine that 55hp is all that great on a ~400lb machine. Even the blast 400 sounds under powered to me for a mountain class machine.

I believe they're both the same size (could be wrong but they look the exact same) just 15 more hp on the + with a better track, better shocks, mountain bar.
$11,300 out the door for the Neo+ take 1000 off of that for the non plus model.

Gotta remember though its aimed at the 60-90lb kid, so it doesn't need to have a ton of power.
The 200cc Yamaha is 207lbs and 9HP, 23lbs per hp.
Not sure what the Neo actually weighs but Even at 450lbs and 55hp the Neo+ would be 8lbs per hp. That's gonna be a good step, and unlike the Evo this thing looks like it's setup to be agile enough to learn some real mountain skills on

Im looking at buying a Summit Neo plus for my kid. It seems like its right about what he needs. Currently he has a 2014 M6000, but its too heavy and not super agile, so he struggles alot to manoeuvre it. I think this summit will be alot more agile and much easier to steer ect….my only concern is that its ALOT, less horsepower. At least right now, his machine is capable of going places, even if someone else has to ride it up, Im not so sure how this one will be. I see that SLP offers a performance upgrade already in the form of a clutch kit and a pipe, so that’s promising to a degree.
Anyone have any real world experience with one of these Neo sleds? My kid currently weighs in at 104lbs, so should be a good fit.
