Does anyone know if Gates or Dayco or anyone else has a Belt that we can run on the 23 Turbos. Im assuming its most likely the same as the 22 summits?

Dealer said that since the belt temps are so much lower on the 23s now they wouldnt be scared of running the standard 850 belt on the turbos but take that for what it is lol time will tell

We have good success last season with the PBX drive belt from CV Tech. The shortage of the 571 belts last year forced us to try an alternate. I generally stay away from aftermarket belts, calibration of the clutch often changes because of the different material. They offer a warranty unlike Ski Doo, never had to use it.

The design of the G5 motor mounts should solve the heat issue, funny Ski Doo always said the the G4 engine mounts were not a problem.....then they change it Ha! I'm going to install my GNR clutch alignment tool on a G5 this week & compare the loaded & unloaded spec's to the G4.

Im more less just looking for a spare belt that would get me back out of the mountians if for some reason the stock belt blew. But Im expecting the stock belt to last my season.

The 571 is the stock belt. UltimaxXS821 works for the 23 Turbos. I used it also for a back up on my 19 850N/A. Was $120 cheaper than the Doo belt. Will 100% get me off the mtn. Both Dayco and Gates make one for the 850 Turbo. Apparently when I talked to the parts guy they have lowered the temps so much they can run the 571 with zero issues on these turbos.

Dayco- CTX5034, RPX5034 and the XTX5034
Gates- 48R4289

I'll stick with the stock belt, don't need any "if you had stock BRP belt you would not have these gouges on clutches" argument. Noth worth penny-pinching over $100 difference in a belt. I had 2700 km on my G4 turbo on original belt.

Did a alignment check today of 2023 175 N/A & compared notes with a few G4's. No time to get real fussy, enough to see no real change. It started with a C-C distance to tight prior to load, then the measurement tightening .150 with 75% load. When you see that much movement, the rest of the spec's are going to follow(bad) as they did.
