If they do release it, it would have been designed for a few yeaars already now, long before electrics were feasible. And if they did it, it would be the cleanest in the market.
Game changer as long as the weight is reasonable and range is there!

No power loss regardless of elevation.

I'm goin out on a limb to say BNGs all around... look at the supply chain shortages today, I just don't see anyone dumber than Polaris to release an "all new" machine during a mess....

I put 56$ or something like that in fuel on Saturday in V town.... how long can this go on?

I think the chances of Yamaha/arctic cat releasing a decent 2 stroke Mountain sled is about the same chance there will be free electric long range 165 sleds that weigh 110lbs. Like while were dreaming, might as well dream big.

AH YES the yamaha guys always thinking this is their year to shine. Poor fellas
We all know they can do it, the question is if they want to do it or does it make finacial sense to do it?

And you already know the real company that is going to shine this year.

look at the success of the skidoo turbo and probably the polaris turbo. If they built it they will come, and pay off well i would say 100% it makes financial sense. But it takes a big initial investment and commitment and its clear that there must be some old-school thinkers at Yamaha and Cat that aren't prepared to take the leap into the future of the industry, and for that reason they will be left behind. That goes for any business now a days. Keep up with the tech or your done

I spoke to a few within the industry in the past month. Most all agree that while all of the manufacturers likely have something up their sleeve, there will be a holding pattern for another year as their focus is to get supply chain issues back to where they need to be before they overcommit to something new and have the same issues as this season.

On the flip side - because of supply chain issues - perhaps now is the time to put a true limited build out to test the waters? Keeps repairs/recalls/EPA updates to a minimum if something isn't working properly.

wonder if manufacturing will ever be the same. i have never been to a powersports dealership that has had 0 inventory. until now.
i remember working at the dealer and having 40+ sxs's, 30+ atv's and 30+ sleds in crates. it was mental how many units they crammed
down our throats. put 100,000 on the credit line and they would max it back out by weeks end. more truck loads on the way.

Whats his issue? Would think many people would be doing repairs or some modifications if they can’t get their hands on a new unit?
