2023-2024 Revelstoke and Area Updates

Rode Boulder today. Pouring rain for the first 9kms up the trail. Glad I started wearing a monosuit this trip. Was bone dry.
Could find some fresh before the cabin today. Snowed about 8-12 inches over the last 36 hours. Still needs more snow. Dropped in above the waterfall towards the end of the day. 18”-24” of fresh but lost all visibility. Called it a day after 4 days of riding.
Gotta start praying to the snow gods.
All in all a great Revy trip. Had a ton of fun. Put some $$$ into the local economy. Just need to replace a side panel and overhaul the tunnel bag lol.

Boggles my mind how the busiest club in western Canada can have the shittiest camera setup. I've said it 10 times on here before, get ahold of the guy that did valemonts cam... it works flawless day or night 24-7! Not sure if it's one of the board members brother or GF that did the instal and service but they seriously suck!

and Sicamous is in the same boat. I don’t know why ApexAlpine even sponsors it anymore. Part of the problem is that the camera is in a Park and access is limited but there is Blue, Quest, and Eagles. Keep doing the same things over and over again and get the same results.

They are consistent. They also have the shittiest grooming with the most expensive grooming machines money can buy. Go ahead, fire away and tell me all the excuses why they have a whooped out trail by 11:00am.

1. If is sunny
2. If it’s foggy ( more likely)
3. Packed snow on the lake through the trees
4. If your employee is drinking beer at the cabin after he called in sick
5. No snow depth after Turcotte killed the snow depth gauge last year

I have like 500 cows here ,I live vicariously though that cam man!! It's all I f@$king have to keep me sane! It's like the small window in a solitary prison cell where I can see a 6 inch square of the sky!
