snowchecks will start arriving and my question is what are guys doing for weight reduction on these machines? cheaper the better

Honestly there’s not a lot unless your gonna spend a lot of money. Obviously exhaust can is #1 bang for the buck.

ti a-arms
Rear skid of some sort
Belt drive is lighter but not as efficient as chain
Someone probably makes a lighter hood

all I can think off.

keep in mind the turbo is perfectly balanced side to side with a 7lb difference

i think for now it stays stock but slowly work my way towards making it a bit lighter.. im coming off an xm so im sure it will already be a vast improvement over that

belt drive is more effective know a doo person that does it to every sled he has.

Exercise and lose some weight!!

Not saying you are fat but the best and cheapest for weight loss is the rider getting down to a very manageable weight!!
ill be down around 185 by season start... im 6'3 i cant do much better then that lol

I believe there is a headlight delete kit that give a guy more storage. I'm not sure I would save any weight, as I would be putting on a LED after market light, and filling the storage area that would likely end up being weight neutral.

how is the can situation on these turbos are most guys riding stock exhaust?
