2022 hunting draws

Put in my draws today. Definitely noticed less opportunity for cow moose.999 everything for me this year. Will get general whitetail supplemental whitetail and a general elk tag this season

And only one choice for moose.

The SRD really needs to take a real look at numbers for Moose. In 321 where i live Cow Moose are to the point where they are becoming a nuisance animal. Getting hit on the highway at an alarming rate weekly. In gardens and yards. Time to release a few more tags.

You used to have first choice and second choice. Because I usually only get my second choice

Daughter has her cow moose, friend has cow elk, I have bull moose, mule buck.
2-3 of us in group will pick up general elk.
6 in group so we cycle through the draw tags every year except the mule deer. That is only every couple years.
Only shoot white tails if contender for winning local scoring competition.

Choose by animal population/available amount of tags.

Struck out on Speed goats in Sask yet again.

I actually know a guy from SE Sask that got a speedy goat tag this year. First guy I've ever known to get one.
