Did Boulder ever open up again? Haven't seen any updates. I'm betting things are gonna slow down out there big time with the highway closing, Boulder closed and Frisby a parking lot

I was 100% going to go again until I factored ln the highway closure. I think I just got back from my last trip

Not the main way up.
West side but as of today, 3 to 4km of gravel\snert.
Everyone is riding surrounding spots

Join several sites just to narc on hanke? How about just call the fish cops if youre so worried. Hanke isnt the first person to do that, never have seen any one else called out like this though

It’s not just hanke. It’s his partner shena Thomas who is also a skidoo ambassador. I know both of them and have no beef with either of them. But they are both industry professionals representing brands, products and businesses. While it is not right that anyone enters a caribou closure before the opening date these folks are held to a higher level accountability than the rest of us. Whether it’s one hour, one day, or one month before the opening date OR whether it’s misleading is irrelevant. Their due diligence was insufficient and that is why people are upset and rightfully so. When you sign yourself on as an ambassador to any company your signing your life away and agreeing that you will not make these kinds of mistakes. The CEO of brp created a program this year called take the pledge which try’s to promote responsible riding and regulation following. When an ambassador takes “the pledge” then breaks it, its embarrassing. Just my opinion

This entire thing could have been avoided by typing “caribou basin” into google. In which the first link is to the revelstoke snowmobile clubs website very clearly stating it is closed until the 16th.


When you operate a snowmobile business and are a major brand ambassador saying “I thought it was the 15th” doesn’t fly with me.

Have to agree with you Sean. If BRP takes the pledge stuff seriously things wont go well for them if it is proven they rode there early.

he isn't, and it is. But Jeremey owns/operates soul rides, an avalanche course provider. My remarks were in regard to if you have a snowmobile related business you should probably follow the rules.

That the problem I have with it, A new person only joined just to sling mud at certain individual or individuals.

Wether it was mistake or intentional violation of the closure, its none of my business.
What’s done is done, those individuals will have deal with the cards that’s dealt to them now. Shena has the most to lose unfortunately.
