Can you get back into Copelands mine from Frisby?

Not the easiest way, but its possible.

There must be a lower trail going back into the mine. I have seen tracks in the bottom heading back towards the east. When we were heading back towards eagles starting from the Boulder side.

No. People ask me all the time too. But other people seem to get upset if I ever try to make any money at this so i just ride for fun.
I kinda guided a ex "glacier house guide"
Around today and had to save his ass too lol he never paid me though haha

I thought there must be an old access road going in. Have to get mark to take us.

That old mine road has been covered in by landslides and such.
Bridge at Hiram creek was pulled, so lack of use has made for an overgrown trail from there to the mine. Road is washed away in a couple of spots on the side of a steep slope so no way to side hill it.
Nobody maintained or maintains the old Copeland mine road, it is decommisioned.
The avalanche risk to go in the original mine road is also to bad,
Also, you have to remember, old roads in winter usually just become part of the mountain after snow and windblown in.
Little long winded, but hope this helps you.
Mark and I usually only go in thru from Boulder, thru Turtle side all the way back.
Done on nice sunny days. When you have way more daylight.
Long day and a long ride, but well worth the trip.

I spent years of my life and a ton of money to learn the area.
If i dont know you, dinner isnt going to cut it at all.

Would be well worth it IMO if you're going show off some honey holes.
We hired a guide for the first time ever last year in Golden. Had never ridden the area. Was worth it to be able to learn the spot without poking around for days on end
