Are you considering making a change?

No Brande loyalty here my man. My polaris has been good to me I will say that. I’m getting a little tired of the high turnover and inconsistent stand with polaris in town though. Now it will be packed in over at redline with the current changes. Who knows how that show is going to roll.

I hear you, they finally had a really good thing going and sold.. I’m really interested in trying each make before I buy a new one.

What you think Dan. Looks like a tight setup.

Yeah looks like the sled to have to me. They should have called it the Riderz Edson package. It is basically how they have been setting up the sleds for years now.
Plus they added the hand guards for Alford, because hes getting old and his fingers get cold haha

Misread that, raptor charges $45 per shock to rebuild as long as your shafts aren’’t compromised.

Really. They must not be doing seals bc most guys want $150 shock to rebuild a raptor as the seals are pricey Vs $45-75 ( 75 he will throw a few shims in and upgrade valving)

I will give redline 1 chance, then over to Gaudins.

So ... what is the RMK Khaos coming out... that is the new patent name to be released on 4th. My guess is it’s another shorter tunnel fad.. oh and probably a short skirt snow flap.

Makes sense, especially with Burandt pushing the fad

It seems the industry caught on to Polaris’ M/O and Doo beat them to it this year

BRP had already been offering it on the Lynx.

I also wouldn’t call it a fad. Tall risers on mountain sleds was a fad. Guys have been doing short tunnel mods or purposely building on shorter tunnels for awhile. (Maxwell said he was first or something to do it, likely why BRP and Burandt caught on) but it serves a functional purpose.

There is a real difference in snow evacuation without a snowflap as well.

Cat put a short tunnel on the M8 back in 2009... I know because I own one.

Everyone whined about the flap getting sucked in (easy fix, cut off flap), lack of leverage when lifting (don't lift the back) and/or the rooster tail behind them (your own fault for following so close behind me) so they changed it back to long tunnels in like 2010 or 2011. I bet Burandt's been doing it to all his sleds since then, just happened to make a vijeo about it and suddenly it's a major thing for this year...?!?

Meanwhile I've been sitting over here all like... glad to see a good idea come back? But yeah, this isn't some crazy invention that will revolutionize mtn sledding. This is more akin to when the OEM's stopped including the pieces of plastic trim all over the sleds to keep snow from coming up and getting on the seat. BFD.
