skidoo led the way with the 850 then polaris tried to make an 850 but their Post trraumatic stress disorder kicked in when they were realizing they were getting back close to that 900 number so they toned it back a notch to an 840

maybe it will be an 860. cat seemed to be the only one that could make an engine anywhere near the 1000cc range hold together lol

I dunno if cat needs bump the displacement really, if they do watch out.
The 800 ctec is no slouch and with some tuning from the factory it could easily surpass the 850s in HP.

Its a fact that doo left so much on the table from the factory, which is evident with the jaws pipe without a controller.
Lets see what doo does under the hood for 2020. The 2019 engine was upgraded.

Anyone think the smaller diameter bars will be easier to hold on to? skinny bar dumbells are way easier to lift than thicker, this might help guys going to finger throttles to hold on better

I see Doo going bigger to maybe a 860 or 870. Then if Cat stays with the same 800, same clutching, , Doo should then be able to dominate that 800 class !! And for gods sake , change those dreadful gauges !

I agree with this statement. Narrow up the tunnel, ditch the tmotion, loose some weight.

Hopefully the come to the table with more than ugly colour changes and a few accessory changes. Hopefully the shock upgrades on all models, better clutching/belt life ,better gauges

saw that on the ol' fb group yesterday. 850 power with alpha handling and track hook up should be a wicked sled. Attack angle looks more cat than doo which should also be a win.
