Has anyone experienced the secondary clutch locking open on the team secondary clutch. It locked coming out of salmon tonight cruising on trail. Belt went limp when I was cruising. Pulled the panel and saw secondary clutch was still engaged. I pulled the clutch off and it released during process. Put it back together and worked it hard for remainder of trail through all different rpm bands and never locked again. Approximately 1000 km’s on clutch.

I have read about the helix starting to flex over time, throw in some worn rollers and you have a sticky secondary. Broken spring could be a culprit also. The flexing helix seems to be on higher mile sleds but they are built light and any thing can happen. I have the same sled but have not experienced this issue.

Had it happen many times.the rollers get stuck in the reverse cut. If your pinned and hit the brakes hard real quick and instantly decelerating the rollers can move into the reverse portion of helix. It will usually pull back out by smashing the throttle, if your moving real fast might need to slow down which it’s already doing. Mines done it randomly since new.

Why would you be pinned then need to hit the brakes "real hard" on a mountain machine??

Cause I ride the **** out of it!
And trying to get maximum speed in the distance available for launching in the air and keeping it level.
