It’s not moving the wires I am worried about it the difference in temperature that the probe will see in the bottom of the can vs the top/inlet pipe. With how finicky the ECM can be it might be an issue.
IMO I would be cautious putting a can on a 19 that was developed for a 17/18. That sensor got moved to a different part of the exhaust stream for a reason.
My mechanic assured me it wont make a difference where the probe is. I have an MBRP trail can and we cut the probe mount off and moved it approximately 90 degrees around and welded it back on. I hope it wont make a difference, I will probably take my stock can out the first ride just in case the I get a cel.
The SSI Stainless can has no running issues with the probe relocated. I test fit one at Riverside. Have to remove the plastic clip on the chances cover and reroute the probe over to the side. On thing we did find is that the diameter of the probe increased from 17/18 and was bit tight getting it in there. Had to twist and push, but eventually was in and bolted tight.
MBRP claims it’s still the same can is for 2017-2019. Wires on my 19 will reach the old sensor location but I don’t like how close they are to the can.
