Anyone know if bbtoys or any other locals doing sled recovery? Apparently there is a Polaris with a piled up magneto down in kids bowl that needs a tow to the cabin.

Yup a couple broken sleds back in there a ways - need someone with a good tow sled to go in there - I don't really wanna beat up my turbo xm being a tow truck - but if any wants to see an old xm destroy an 850 doo with a sidekick come on out tomm to Renshaw and witness it for yourself

Kanedog 2015-2019, thanks for the good times S&M!
Yeah I mean I don’t mind as we all day dream once on a while but there were a number of peeps that couldn’t catch on. Even had one gem that flipped the bird to my 15 year old that was trying to pass. I now remember why I used to love riding during the week. Oh well. Great pow so carry on.

Last weekend I gave the one index finger up sign to signify one rider behind me. The oncoming sledder thought I was saying hi so the dude waved at me. I thought it was kinda humorous but then it wasn’t but then it was.

There are lots that just dont know about that. I have had similar experiences people waving at me. One guy gave me fist bump back when I was the tail end.

Yeah we have a little ways to go in educating the masses. I had one today that I’m not even sure he got the fist bump part. And even though there was only 100 people in Renshaw there was still 1silky dude that had to ride the left and took 3 miles to take his first look behind him and realize it wasn’t his buddy rapping on the throttle. Good grief people. I guess if that’s the worst thing going in life is pretty darn good.!!!

Good snow on the back for sure today.
Visibility was on and off so we did not get to Spirit Lake.
Once you get to the back and beyond there is lots of untouched.
Trail up and down was good.
Great first ride and lots of snow for this time of year.
Deep and decent base, we did not find any hidden treasures.

Pics ....?

Shouldn't your beacon be secure enough that it's not easily loseable?

velcro must of been wet from lying in snow fixing some one else's poo:rolleyes: I didn't even think to use buddy's beacon for tracking it. it was picked up by some nice sask boys that night...beers were bought and made some new friends for saturday :drink4: Was every sledder in berta in Mcbride this weekend? was the most pepes i have ever seen...didn't meet any S&M'rs tho......not to point fingers but cough cough SNOWBIKERS think they owned the trail....
