2018 Mountain Cat Suspension Setup

I'm a heavier guy(265) that rides aggressive and these numbers seem to work quite well for me with very limited trenching.
Ski Shocks 80 psi evol 150
Front skid shock 90 psi evol 170
Rear skid shock 140 psi evol 225

Keep in mind I have a 17mtn cat so I have the evol chambers instead of the qs3 control but the sleds are identical suspension wise.

Where was everyone running the ski stance width last year?
Moved from an XM to the mountain cat, XM carved good.
Wondering if I should just set it up with the same width as the XM.

One spacer on the outside, the rest to the inside.

I played with my mountain cat lots last year.
I ended up at 125-130 in the rear setting 2, 70-80 in the center setting 2, and the shocks around 60.
Skis narrow. I found this much easier to roll on its side than the stock settings.

I've set my new alpha up the same this year.

So narrowest setting on the ski stance?
I had my xm all the way in, disconnected sway bar and that's the way I preferred it.
This machine is new to me but I want it to roll over easy like the xm.

How do you not bottom out all day in the rear with 125-130? I’m not a big guy and I’m like 155psi in the rear at least to not bottom out

Not sure then. I only weigh about 165... But never had issues bottoming out. You adjusting your pressures with zero weight on the shocks?

Of course, been running fox air shocks for the last decade or more so got a pretty good handle on them, my sled is set up perfect for me, just more curious as to how so soft that’s all, that extra 10 in the front must make a big difference on how much weight it carries, and I’m at least 20lbs heavier so this is all making sense lol, I tried 80 in the front one climbed a wall without hardly a ski lift but wasn’t for me, I like the front to dance a little bit more lol

How many guys take pressure off the shocks when setting the pressure, I know thats what it says to do but kind of hard to do on the mountian ?
