Getting ready to give up and get a dodge. HaHa
Now that’s just crazy talk
Getting ready to give up and get a dodge. HaHa
2 1/2 weeks later still no truck and the engineers still have no idea on what to do. Is it unheard of getting a hole new truck from ford? Getting ready to give up and get a dodge. HaHa
Finally have a answer after 5 weeks in the shop after the ford field engineer showed up. He said it’s a normal one ton vibration at speed. Needless to say I’m a little pissed anyone else with a new Ford F-350 with a vib at 120-130km mostly felt through the seat.

My co-worker just finished getting his money back from Ford for his 18 350 which was not easy. He had 5000km and had the same vibration issues as mentioned. Was told the same thing that it is a one ton and some vibration and noise was normal and expected. Ford took his truck back to the factory after replacing almost every part in the front end and suspension. They eventually found what they thought was the issue, every component was almost enough out of spec. They wouldn't warranty it because everything was in spec, which is up to 20 thousands supposedly. The components, bearings, bushings, etc. were up to 19 thousands out, hence why ford wouldn't warranty it. Anyway after $30000 plus shop bill that ford didn't want to pay but the dealer actually supported him and got it ford to pay they agreed to buy it back. this process took almost 4 months.
I have a 18 F350 CC diesel SRW and with my camper on at 90 MPH it is still rock steady. Mine is all stock

what a joke. IMO. you spend 100 grand on a truck and you buy issues.... when you buy new and not someone's used crap you would think you would get a truck that will have no issues for many kms. my 1/2 has 180000 on it no vibrations.
Exactly
When someone from dealership tells me something stupid that is off the wall I ask them ?
Could you show me in the operators manual or anyplace where it says what your telling me ??

Sorry but I call BS on this story.
Believe what you want but 1-I seen all the documentation and work orders from the dealer so if it is bs, that seems like a crap ton of work to make it all up. 2-Any vehicle or equipment regardless of make can have problems. 3- Maybe if enough people stand up and say NO I am not going to accept when the dealer or manufacturer tells me it is normal to expect issues and demand they fix it. Regardless of what you believe, all the manufacturers depend on loyalty for sales so why not hold them accountable when we purchase something and have problems with it?
