Talked to Hotrod this morning and all trails still holding up and in great shape and grooming as per needed. Renshaw parking lot still in use but there are a couple dirt spots showing between there and the collection shack! There has been some recent moisture but he wasn’t sure how much up top, will update that shortly!!

You going back this year?
We have not done a ride yet ad I will likely do two more trips yet.
Clutch kit going in tonight so would like to test this Saturday or next weekend.
Keep those updates coming.

Rode Lucile today. Definitely full on spring riding. Tracked out in most areas. But the trail was in awesome shape and snow cover from the parking lot.

Grooming still continuing the next while!! Renshaw trail done last night(Sunday). The first 7km is not the best but that’s usual for this time of year! Lucielle and Belle still holding up good! Hotrod is going to make a decision whether to open the parking lot across the first bridge, will know by weeks end!! No moisture lately but bluebird sky’s brings those big km days we like to put on up Renshaw. Hopefully it does snow to add to the fun! Ride safe !!

Renshaw spring riding = ability to find new areas that you never knew existed there. Thanks for the miles and sunburn.

Ok so Hotrod has decided not to open the second parking lot at Renshaw at this time. Apparently the trail still has a lot of good snow on it at that point and he wants to keep it as long as possible. But he is going to allow people to park on the trail just past the collection shack to just before the bridge, so keep driving down Mountainview road to access the entrance to this area! He was going to widen things out to accommodate larger units!! You can still use the upper lots but they don’t have coverage! They will be directing traffic accordingly to accommodate everyone!!

Probably a good idea not to park at the bottom of the one avalanche chute that is between the collection booth and the bridge. I have seen this one slide down onto the trail a couple times.

Hand was not broken, broke several blood vessels but will be ready for Radium in two weeks if sunny there.
Still looking to break 10,000' this year.

After riding i do not have a trail report as we were a bit off the beatin path.
Pretty sure the trails are good always.
A pic of a little spelunking and three steaks on the fire.

Yes grooming is still continuing for this week! Belle parking lot still has some snow but trailhead is good, Lucielle parking lot is bare but snow right at trailhead, Renshaw trail hasn’t got any huge bare spots and parking is down by the collection shack!!
