I wonder if a chopper would land on that lake? Sometimes that far west side is open down near that waterfall.

Sled is on the north east corner of lake and on a small rise just off of lake. Waterfall is northwest end of lake.
Safe to land on east side of tree away from lake.

Looks like awesome snow. We usually ride down south Fernie area but we're thinking of coming up here for a change in scenery. Where would be the best spot for a family to spend a couple days in the snow. Nothing to advanced as a couple are new to the mountain riding. Also what hotel would you recommend to stay at?

Belle is always a great time. Always lots of untouched snow, lots of meadows. Renshaw is great for all around riding. You’ll find everything from beginner to expert. Lucille has somemeadows as well, a lot more hills than Belle to play on.

We have been staying at NV Mountainview cabins, they are located about 20km east of town. Great rates and nice cabins!

Must be lots of fresh snow. Reports say that staging for Belle is at the lower staging area KM 1 as road has too much. Been a long time since I had to leave from that staging area.
