image.jpg Looks like way more machine than I'll ever need! Price of these toys is going to be going up and up and up. This is a real game changer especially with the problems Poo poo is having.

From what I hear all that power is needed in the dunes.

I could use that here too.

Well some days

Wonder if it will come in the Xmr.

Yeah riding in the dunes is totally different than the usual trails and mud most of us are used to. Even riding Brule can get sketchy at times in the commander. Before I put my Elkas on it there were a few times I was sure I was going to tip over in the sand. Some of the little hills weren't doable so I can't imagine what trying to climb some of the huge dunes would be like. I don't expect I'll be in the market for a machine like this but I'd definitely love to get one out on the trails and just pin it!

I really like the "just pin it " part....
i think it will be a great machine , some dune machine SXS can be made to work real well on the trail . Others like the new Yamaha can not ( within $$$ common sense) ....
I would expect , 64 "wide, way longer wheel base , rear engine , crazy good suspension, no cvt , doors, factory harness,over165hp and well over 33k ....!!!
Yikes ....'

I can't see any way they keep a cvt with that much hp so hopefully you're right there. If they make a xmr version I wonder how much clearance it will have. What do you guys have on your new Mavs?
I find myself wishing my buggy had a bit more giddy up when I get a chance to open it up but I did choose the commander over the Mav knowing what I was getting and I also have full aluminum skids with a UHMW layer, heavier tires, spare tire and jerry can, etc, etc so it's a heavy beast. No complaints on the slow trails but who doesn't want a bit more power and speed sometimes.

Ray and I have about the same 15 to 19 inchs based on your preload and 30" tires of course ....
As different as the turbo XDS and xmr is , in the mud they go about the same ... It is quite easy to turn a turbo into an xmr ....actually.
