Was a good run today. We were later in the group so registration was quick. Lots of guys getting stuck on hills but eventually got through. Was slow up to the lunch spot then quick after that for our group. Thanks for setting it up again this year guys.

Great ride today.

Lots of poker hands sold.

Great job everyone.

As wild1 mentioned we went later and was only a few slow spots.

We pinned it.

Lots of ice and water.

No injuries this trip

We had another great turnout this year! We are unsure exactly how many machines were there but had 594 registered riders.

The 50/50 was run by the Lion's club who'd been selling tickets for quite some time. The winner was Lakota Wood who won $4696.

Here's the winning poker hands:
1[SUP]st[/SUP] – Tom St. Pierre – 5 of a kind $1000.00
2[SUP]nd[/SUP] – Doug Krasowski – 5 of a kind $ 645.00
3[SUP]rd[/SUP] – Ryan Mercer – 4 of a kind $ 350.00

DOES ANYONE KNOW IF WE CAN RIDE DOUBLE ON A MACHINE at rally

Sorry, was unavailable to check in on Sunday. If you ended up going, you probably found that it wasn't a problem. However, it should be noted that doubling on anything other than a 2-up is now against county bylaws and a one up machine with a quad box seat does not count as a 2-up. That said, I have never heard of anyone getting grief from the police for doubling and we saw lots of people doubling this weekend without issue.

The biggest thing unnoticed this year was no police. They were in town in a bunch of places but I didn't see them at any stages or on the trail

as much as people complain about their presence at these type of events I wish they would do it at more events.......

Very true. I am thinking of going next weekend but last time I was at that rally 10 years ago guys were drinking 26's pretty quick and having that many drunk drivers around was
Not cool.

They were there. They were at checkpoint 3 for a while and a couple of them ran the rally on quad. ...all very nice guys.

We invite them every year. Some years they have a much stronger presence than others. The first couple years after the rally really started to gain popularity, they checked and banded every machine.

Left a bad taste in that one. As they are doing registration in the bar they are asking everyone in line if they wanted a drink. Ow don't get me wrong I like to have a little drinky poo every once in awhile but that is sending the wrong signal. That rally could use a good showing of police. Also this was ten years ago sonthings may have changed as well and I could be out to lunch now.

If you ever meet Cam and Mel Beaulieu, give them a pat on the back. They've been doing all the club rallies since the beginning and the amount of work they do is amazing - they pretty much ARE the rally.
