Wondering if going into salmon or ground hog you need a deck. Where about is the snow line on trail.
unloading in the main lot at the bottom. It is groomed all the way dow, though its a little light on snow for the first km or so. all good with scratchers down. Had a blast the last 2 days in Salmon! Sun and untouched!

Salmon trail is a skating rink all the way through the first section of trees. Get there early or else you will be waiting for the **** show. Coming out yesterday there was 3 sleds piled off one corner.

never been to blue river before to sled, where are the best areas to head to with snow to the bottom or close as we are bringing a trailer?

Rode Friday and Saturday in Salmon both days. Conditions were awesome, temperature inversion meant a bitter cold trail but bluebird and warm up top! The main goat path was well ridden but if you got off the main path at all or know a couple good tree riding spots it was fantastic. Hero snow conditions mean some great tree and creek riding.

What is also meant was we saw some guys getting desperate for fresh pow and climbing in any terrain with multiple guys on the hill at once. Got a couple photos below. The big loose avalanche was fresh as of Saturday morning as well.

It is also worth noting the surface hoars were out all weekend, could make for a nasty trigger layer in a couple weeks time

Oh and of course the trail in was gong show Saturday as per usual lol

Rode coulees yesterday and big blue today.
Found some untouched snow in coulees and big blue has quite a bit left to ride.
The trails are descent but the last 10 miles into blue are big moguls.
Like said before......keep snow dancing.

Anyone ride Finn creek or that nearby area? Just curious what Finn and the riding areas in the near vicinity of that are like for terrain etc.

Not good news in blue river right now. Both ground hog hills closed for caribou. Pretty tracked up at salmon and trail in is brutal.

Rode Friday and Saturday.

Snow was decent, and easy to find, temperatures were tolerable, but trails were marginal!
