2016 XM T-3 174" Rear swing arm 2 piece tube vs 2014 non T-3

Greasing my skid and grease came out of the outer tubing, it appears to be a factory design on a T-3 to have a seam, my non T-3 XM is a solid tube, I know Maxwell would know if this is the way a T-3 comes from the factory vs my other sled, does anyone know if i broke the tube or if this is how they are built??

Non T3 XM's have that line built in, they don't have the aluminum sleeve like that one though, it's just regular steel.
