Just went to the back and grabbed a brand new set of oem pedals. they sit perfectly flat on the counter either way i set them down. As well no markings at all as to side up. tried to get a picture but almost impossible. there should not be any curvature to the reeds from the package.
Strange I know but was supposed to be a new set installed at one dealer and then corrected at another dealer. I would have rather liked it done correctly the 1st time

Unsure of this by the pictures, did your reed cage have the rubber lining all the way around? Or was it removed by the screws? Because if someone scraped off the rubber lining thinking it wasn’t suppose to be there and then left the rubber on the rest, it would cause the same effect.

Or like my first statement, the dealer put in used reeds to get you by knowing that you wouldn’t tear into it to check them.

That cage doesn't look flat to me. If some is working on sleds professionally and doesn't check if the reeds seal before dropping the cages back in the intake that should be there last day of employment. Mistakes happen but that is plan stupidity.
