Your math doesn't work. 11.3L/100km on a 128 liter tank should give 1130km per tank. My guess is your DIC is lying to you like most tuned trucks do.

I think it depends on the tank size that came with the truck, with my factory tank I could only get about 85 liters in it, which in a truck this size is ridiculous, I replaced my factory tank with a 175l Titan tank. When they gave me my factory tank, it looked like an ice cream pail

After having done a tone of research on this a year ago I went with a Proven tune installed by OCD diesel in Edmonton.

https://www.provendiesel.com/

If you wanna stay cheap you don't need the easy link. I never used it once is settled on the 85+ tune.

I’ll pop by and speak with them and get some information as well, thanks!

Do the delete yourself it is super easy on the Fords. My son just did his 15. Order parts from Dirty Diesel Customs in Kelowna. CCS tunes per Gotboost above work great. Pull out the def tank and install a 240 liter. Never have to stop.

Stock duramax on 125L (135L tank) easily gets 1000km on the highway. Usually 1100km.

2018 F350 CCSB is 128 liter, CCLB would be 166 liter.

The Duramax does yes, my dad can get as good as 10L/100km in his. My point was his mileage and distance to empty don't add up, which likely means the tune is messing with the fuel economy values in the DIC as most do.

But my wife's Duramax has yours beat, it has an 80 liter tank, best I've done was 980km on a tank, put in 77.5 liters, for an average of 7.9L/100km.

Before people get their panties in a wad I should also add that it's 4 cylinders short of a real Duramax.

The best I’ve seen on my 2016 Duramax is 1150 km to empty All stock ..But come spring I’m gonna delete it ,,I’ve had tanks and heaters changed ,,The 9th injector and EGT sensors .So that’s the end of that crap
And I got quoted 2,400$ for a delete at GM

I'm not confident enough to go digging around under there by myself' I think I'll leave it to the pros.
I spoke to the guys at OC Diesel and to Coopers, Coopers steered me to OC to get the work done. I spent about a half hour at OCD and asked them a bunch of questions and they were really good about answering them, I'll probably book it in next week with them and getter done.
Thanks for all the replies and info, appreciate it!

Anybody know if any of this stuff from my recent 2016 f350 delete is worth any more than just scrap metal value? Because the long piece at the back is $9800 to replace Im thinking there is valuable minerals in it and may be worth some xtra cash at a wreckers? Anyone have any input on this? Thanks IMG_7940.jpeg

I would be keeping everything you need to get back to stock, who knows where things go in the future. Another big player in deletes just got hammered by the EPA recently

I understand that Tyler but I can prove where they came from with the dealer service invoice of the delete. I think the crackdown was requiring people to prove their parts if I remember. My parts were all disassembled as opposed to cut off with a zip saw.
