Is this a real consideration for a sled? Chit just give me the one that works the best and won't strand me back in a bowl somewhere.

To me? Absolutely! Doo, Polaris, and Cat ALL make good sleds now (Anyone can and will argue this, but they're lying. It's just brand preference). So why not ride the one that looks the best to me? I wouldn't ride a Polaris simply because of the fact that I think they're ugly as sin. If I'm gonna spend 15K on a toy, why not have something that is not only very capable, but also good looking to me? I'd rather buy a VERY capable machine that looks good to me, and spend a few bucks making it even better. ie Polaris Gripper skis on my M8000.

If Daewoo made the best rated vehicle on the road, but it was ugly as phuck, would you buy one, just cause it's the best?

I think the manufacturers have done a good job of the looks on all brands I would ride them all if it was about looks but they suck at too many other things. Pro is a mean looking sled too me

Not really. I think most people care about the looks of their sled otherwise no manufacturer would offer color options or different factory decals, etc.

This was on snowest a few days ago and I'd put money on it being the real deal.

16' pro.......408#..........160hp

Passing on what I heard about 16' pro.....408# with 160 hp
2.7 track
no more bonded a-arms
cast alum upper a-arms (like burandts hillcross sled)
lower geared quick drive
3" narrower body work
other changes..........

I wouldn't be as concerned about a tensioner, as I would be a driveshaft that doesn't need a clamp.

As for carbon fibre... by an assault.

Hey now, I'm a Polaris guy since 99'. Drive shafts fine with the clamp, its them damn quick drive belts that us fat guys break. Give us some gearing options with a tensioner. I switched to a C3 belt drive and hmmmm, no more belts snapping at $ 240 a piece. An assault, no thanks. But really, how much does a carbon fiber overstructure weight compared to aluminum ? I know which one is stronger, because I replaced with aluminum. Maybe a carbon fiber front bumper this year lol. But I guess Polaris needs to make money too.

Re: 2016 Axys RMK video released from Polaris

You must need glasses because they look awesome not to mention everything else that will go with. Just wait and see you will like them.

I like it.

Re: 2016 Polaris Axys Teaser Vid

Re: 2016 Polaris Axys Teaser Vid

Watching that video was a couple minutes I'll never get back. I like the pro's, but that vid was a waste of everyone's time, unless I missed any useful info?? Also. If you can tell from pausing that video that it's a 3" track and not a 2.7, then you must have to look at something that's 3" every day...

I do look forward to the ACTUAL specs and changes to the '16.
