I believe if memory serves me correct those numbers are for North America Cat401. I know they told us they had a huge increase for 2015 in the North American mountain segment. They told us they were number 1 in all segments this year. Lost some points in markets they dominated and gained in others they needed to. I'll see if I can find that info for you.

I can tell you one thing though.... The numbers I was looking at for the amount of 120ish sleds... By ANY brand that are sold in Quebec and some of the eastern provinces are staggering! Those guys like the trails!!

They brought back the old school names a couple years ago. The El Tigre, Pantera, Lynx and the ZRs came back.
And the class numbering system. It was really fun to learn what 2000,3000,4000,5000,6000,7000,8000,9000s were. Ha.

ZRs are short tracks 129" & 137"

A funny as time goes on.... The long tracks become crossovers... And the crossovers become short tracks lol.

that's what I am wanting to see...a breakdown of what sells where....ie 47% market share but what about the same model in central or eastern zones, etc. What model's sell in the east and what are those market share numbers in this zone?.....stuff like that

Kind of hard to dig up that kind of info! I generally just keep the numbers that make brp look good and delete everything else...............
Ill see what I can dig up for a spread on regions and track sizes though! would be interesting!

The government investment in managed snowmobile trails in Quebec & Ontario is staggering.....

Earlier I was saying these 2016 were a pretty good deal for what your getting. So I got some pricing today while I was driving around. I will ballpark a few numbers so nobody get pissy. Priced out a 2016 162 3" limited. Price is well under $15000 no gst. With that you get 4 year warranty, $300 cat cash and a avy airbag $800. So you have a 2014/15 this is what it would you need to spend to build a 174. Track $1200 , 7 tooth drivers $300, 36" front end $900, skis $400, some sort of descent rear shock $500. So that is $3300. The 2016 has a 3" that you can sell for good money, has 7 tooth drivers, descent ski and fox evol shocks all around. So a holdover 162 is $11000 + $3300= $14300. 2016 $15000 - $300 cat cash - $800 avy bag =$13900. So the 2016 is looking pretty good.

You are correct on the warranty or air bag which is new. Vest style worth $1200 ish and I believe it's now the lightest one out there. personally I think the warranty not needed for the engine take the BCA even has doo pin stripe color, so good for everyone. :) Mike from BCA says they should be available August. If you want to know exactly what you get for price I can help you out but I belive you were just asking about the programs.

Yes I will try to stop in yet. Been working North of red deer. Not trying to stir anything up but was more interested in doing a little comparing. That 2016 cat is looking good.

So if a guy takes the vest, then is it a two year warranty or only one? Thanks
