Looks like the 2016 800 is holding up much better then the older ones. Is this right. Whats happening out in the snow??

what do you mean? my 2013 is running perfect.

6800 kms on my '11 before I rebuilt it. That was only due to injector failure. Which then turned out to be broken wire to injector.

ive got a 14 with 2500k on it that has literally hit almost every tree in renshaw and run through hell and back. Runs like a top wouldn't trade it for the world.

2014 with a 860 and 4000 km. I ride the **** outa it and it pulls hard

I have 600 kms on my 16 and it's been awesome. I agree with the other guys that the previous years have been pretty bullet proof as well.

No issues with my 2014 XM 800 Etec, 1800 miles and runs like a top.

Almost 4000km on my 14, no issues at all.

7500 km on my 14 xm, pistons done as dealer preventive maintenance

Rebuilt clutch at 4750 km

All mountain riding

About 3200km and fixed nothing and second belt still in excellent shape.
Very consistant smooth running motor.

Well I was attacked by a tree once and needed complete headlight package and air box replaced.

at 7300km now... have not done a thing to the motor. no rebuild, no new pistons, no cleaning of rave valve.

probably will do a top end this summer

things I have done is rebuild the clutch and changed a couple bearings out

Ray mason had 10000 before he did his topend I think it was. What does the manual say for service interval>?

Buddy got 9300 before his 14 went down

Stupid thing is his dealer charged him for pistons, which I know where fawked and past spec lots, when they did the engine

Also he had it in for a check up at banisters right before the last ride

They said compression was good ( which is the crappyest way to check over something) , but obviously never checked crank runout like a good dealer would

I got almost 7500 km on my 14 all I've done is rebuilt the clutch at 4800 km still running strong .. Also running 40 shot of nitrous and my 16 I got almost 2000 km so far
